Crawler Placer

The Crawler Placer is another option for a final placement conveyor system.  Similar to the Creter Crane, the Crawler Placer is also large heavy-duty placing machine suitable for the biggest concrete jobs.  When comparing the two the most obvious difference between the Creter Crane and Crawler Placer is the presence of tank-treads verses tires.  This allows for a more steady machine, eliminating the need for outriggers and will virtually eliminate tread marks on a job site.  These factors are why the Crawler Placer is mostly used in conjunction with either a Long Line Conveyor System or Tower Belt in the construction of RCC Dams.
